My 2017 at a Glance

Happy New Year everyone!! I’m pretty late with my greetings but I am hopeful and excited to what 2018 has in store for me and for everybody.

Its been a while since I posted anything but I promised myself that 2018 will be different and will post as much as possible, even the most irrelevant of stuff that I can think of. But today I would like to share with you a few things about my 2017.

I do apologise for the low quality of photos, as all of them are impromptu photos that I only really wanted to keep as something to look back to when the time comes.

Let me start by one of my happiest and at the same time saddest memory of 2017. My family and me watched Disney on Ice as a gift for my niece. Though to be honest I enjoyed myself way more than I think she did. This is such an important memory for me because this is the last time that I was able to spent time with my niece. Don’t get me wrong, she is alive and well but very from me and the rest of my family. Its a very personal matter but I want to just share that I miss her so much and that’s why I hold on to this thought close to my heart.

At the start of the year, I was jobless and this worried me so much because I can’t keep living off my parents since they are old. But at the same time, I do miss those quiet moments where I can just stare up to the sky and be alone with just my thoughts.

I was able to visit my old school, who still stood beautiful and glorious after all this years. It was such a nostalgic feeling and the best thing is that I was able to share my past with my special someone this time.

I took up a new hobby, though I’m still not good at it until now but I plan to practice more this year. I started with flowers, not really sure if that was a good idea since I find it hard but I’m not giving up. So this is one of my first drawing.

We were  able to visit The National Museum: Planetarium, which I have waited for so long to re-open. I was happy with the shows but was a bit disappointed with the display. I’m absolutely sure that if they make updates with the display outside the amphitheater, there would be a lot more people visiting this museum.

Middle of the year, I was finally hired. I was really happy and greatful that I won’t be a burden to my parents. But I also remembered how hard the travel is from home to work to home. The travel time adds so much more stress and will tire you out more than anything. So, I enjoy the fact that there was so much holiday in 2017 and has lessen my travel stress.

For my birthday, me and my boyfriend visited Quiapo. He bought me a pair of new glasses since my old one has been giving me problems already. Since my family transferred in the South I have been missing the affordable prices the market in Manila offers. Of course, my first stop was the popular Quiapo Church which houses the Black Nazarene.

2017_at_a_glance_trampoline_parkFinally, we went to Trampoline Park and worked up a little bit of sweat. Though it is quite crowded but I love watching people who were doing extreme stuffs on the trampoline. I wanted to actually make a more detailed post about it but I was not able to get more information. Maybe next time or you can grab a voucher from Metrodeal since its so much cheaper than their normal rate. I assure you if your someone like me who does not move a lot, an hour in that park is more than long enough for you.

So that’s my 2017 for you all, its not very exciting but sometimes we tend to over look on the simple things like relaxing or going to work without traffic. Work has been consuming a lot of my time but for 2018 I promised myself that I will try very hard to do the things I love to do and blogging is one of them.

I wish everybody the best this year and let’s all work to achieve what we all have plans in our lives. I believe that it’s never too late to start. 🙂
